Made of Galvanized metal For attachment of exhaust pipe guarantees positive air flow and prevent air escaping into the attic Connect pipe to adapter without bracing in attic Installed from top side of roof deck
Advantages of a Vent Adapter:
- It is installed with the longer pipe entering through the opening on top of the roof and nailed in place, with the smaller 3/4" side aised above the deck level. When the Roof Cap is placed over the raised pipe and flashed into the roofing system the roof cap is properly positioned allowing a proper air flow to vent and damper and not allowing moist air to return to the attic.
- The Adapter allows the roofer to properly align the vent on roof and allows the contractor easy connection on the attic side with the pipe.
